Hooked up the Toy Hauler after getting home from work. Were racing motocross Sat/Sun at Glen Helen about 100 miles away. While stopped at the diesel pump at the local gas station filling up the fuel tank a sweet single cab early 90s F350 pulled up with a 12V under the hood. The owner said his motor literally came out of a tractor and was backed by the stock ZF 5 speed and a Gear Vendor.

Also saw these 2 1st gens on my commute and think one might be overloaded. Any guess which one?

Used mine to pick up my new 10K lb capacity 20' car trailer today!

The "old" car trailer - a 2017 built by P and T Trailers in Alabama - has been an absolute piece of CRAP from day one, and will be sold cheap as a "welder's special" since the deck is flexing so bad that the fender welds are popping loose.

She lives again!

So after last night messing with moving the slide pin back and forth I went out to mess with it this morning. I tried to just crank it and it seemed like it just wasn’t getting fuel. So I pulled out the trusty 17mm wrench and bled the injectors. Then I tried starting it with the afc top and fuel cone removed so I could see down in there. Wouldn’t you know it it now fired up and when I moved the throttle underneath the hood the pin popped out. So I turned the truck off, popped the slide pin back in. Put the fuel fin back in with new diaphragm and went to start it. Wouldn’t start so I bled he injectors again. It fired up, so I let it warm up for about 10 minutes or so and then turned the idle back down a little and took it for a drive. I definitely have been missing out. The truck is still slow, but not anywhere near as bad as it was. It seems to smoke less the longer it ran, but I’m guessing that is just because it was then spinning the hx-35 faster. I now need to get the wiring for my 3in1 gauge and get it installed. Just glad I got it going. Next upgrade will be LPHV piston lift pump. Maybe that will help some more with power.

Alternator stopped working again last week.....guess a couple months after it's last rock bludgeoning had been forgotten. Happened at work so no big rock to use this time, so hit it a few times with a hammer....charging back up and running!

Do you have a CDL?

I was warned, no CDL, and get caught pulling a trailer which weighs over 10k lbs, and I'm getting fined up the wazoo.
Truck looks great!
Nice trailer.

Amazon sells brand new Bosch units. Replace mine 3 years ago, and kept the original one for future rebuild. No issues since

I am going through the same thing with my starter. It acted up last fall and i bought a rebuild kit from Larry B then it started working fine so I didn't put the kit in. Now that we are getting bad weather it is acting up again.

Check the relay plug on the left inner fender. I thought my starter was going flaky but it was the connection on the relay. I took the socket apart and cleaned the connectors and cleaned the spade pins of the relay as best I could and it started working fine again.

I bought a contactor set for the solenoid but didn't use it either. I'm sure the starter will go eventually so having the parts is a good thing.
