I ride my motorcycle every day to work and my truck has been sleeping for over a week, I plugged it in last night as it has been getting into the high 20's and I want some heat right away, had to drive it to haul some scrap steal to work, .......If I had to go into space I would want a VE 12V Cummins powering the thing I was riding in.
It is amazing how fast these things fire up, wish all the tractors I have would fire up like this, I usually get on one and see if it will start, if not go to another one... most of the time the one that starts has a flat tire or is in front of one that won't.
Gave mine a nice dirt bath with the high winds we’ve been having.... There’s lots of open fields and dairy farms in my area, so when we get 20-40MPH winds, everything gets covered. The funniest thing to watch is 2 people getting out of a car and opening BOTH doors at the same time, as they run across the parking lots picking up everything that blew out of their car.
I got out for the first plow of the year here at my house.
We got about a foot of snow over the last few days. I got most of the yard and driveway plowed out before I stuck the old plow pretty well in some mud that was under the snow. I was plowing out an area that had been freshly graded out in the late fall and the ground was soft / unfrozen under the snow.
The front wheels mostly disappeared in the mud under the snow. I looked at how bad it was and decided with the temp hovering about 0 F* and the sun going down in less than an hour I would give up. I walked away and headed towards the beer on the porch.

At first glance, I thought that was California smoke from the fires
Santa Ana winds are no fun if you have allergies like I do. I'm allergic to a type of mold that lives in the soil of the desert and I take 2 kinds of antihistamine and an inhaler for asthma. We have nice warm weather but the blowing really sucks.
Finished ( for now ) my cargo lamp. Used the relay harness with Jim Lane's suggestion regarding 12 ga wire supply, and the cargo lamp oem wiring for triggering it today. Feet were freezing, but the, frostbite was worth it.
Now when Mr. Fusion gets behind me, I can blind the pineapple who's tailgating me...

Guess I'll have to tailgate you in the Cherokee so your tailgate throws a shadow on my windshield
You posted that just to be the 5000th post of this thread.... Now tell the truth..
Lol
Actually I hadn't noticed. If I had I would have said something more memorable.
Something like when I was working on high speed computer tape drives which were the size of a refrigerator and used air and vacuum pumps. Anything that sucks and blows at the same time is a good thing.

So, last night was my first opportunity to use my new spotlight.
Some goober was behind me while I was traveling from one of my plowing customers, and he / she / it has their high beams on, irritating me, riding my bumper. Activated my "anti-goober" reflection device, and they backed off 300 feet or so, Turnng their high beams off. I turned the device off. They got closer again, turning their high beams on again, and again I blasted them with my reflection device. They backed off again, I again turned the device off, and they stayed back, and didn't again use the I high beams behind me...
