Drove around looking for a place to buy some aggregate/rock for my driveway.....after the pineapple express went through last week and melted our 2ft of snow, then refroze it's been a skating ring. My driveway is 400' up hill (7*grades) to the road from the house.....and it curves and dips along the way. Anyway found the place the city gets their rock from for the streets....bought a yard of material and spread about 1/2 that on the driveway......much better now.

But to clear all that wet snow and slush off the driveway....Sno-ball did amazing work. Couldn't be happier with the plow system on the ramcharger.

New joys of living up north.....

The pineapple express flooded our septic tank. and my wife was not happy
something about driving to town half the time and a 5 Gal bucket the rest
some days are like that.

Well I got it de-greased and acid etched, two coats of the rust preventive and I'm ready for bed liner. The only problen is the bed liner must have 50F and above for 24 hours. well even down here in NC that's a tough request in January.

Got the volt meter in the overhead rewired and the visor lights hooked into it so they now work.

Looking really nice
I see you have the rare side shift transmission option.

Picked up LH door hinges and bushings, drilled out the inner LH door skin to have access to the power window motor mounting bolts, fixed the power window motor with nylon spacers, broke the plastic door lock rod plastic, attachment hardware to door panel. Cut my knuckle to the bone installing the window regulator.. Painted the Cummins valve cover, cover and buffed the numbers and what not. Having a beer.

Fuel

Been concerned about getting water in the fuel after the weeks of rain we've had so I took it over and filled the tank with fresh fuel. No problems have been noticed but I plan to dump some P.S. in tomorrow and drive it a bit to mix it up. What's a good way to check to see if the WIF light is working?

Everytime I wash my engine my WIF light comes on.

Other than unscrewing the sensor and dipping the contacts in water, not sure how you could test it.

Supposedly the system self test every time the ignition is turned on, or is it just the lamp?

My 6.2 had drains ***** in each tank where you could syphon the water out.

Put one or two halogen lights in the cab and close the doors. That will keep it warm.

I monkeyed around trying to make a shift boot for my transmission. I figure If I get enough time in it I can screw it up in a matter of seconds
Really I am going to give a shot at making one in a way I haven't seen. Maybe there is a reason for that We shall see.
I have most of the pieces cut out, All I need to do is figure out how to sew them together.
