Metal is saved for the large commercial lots.

Disturbed, Tool, Stone Sour

Soundgarden, Nickelback, shinedown... Slash and Myles Kennedy....

Mix it up

Today i hauled the 250 to the shop to start tearing into it. Gonna be a lengthy ordeal. Resealing the new to me injection pump, resealing the engine and rebuilding the getrag to start off with. Hopefully i won't hit too many snags along the way only time will tell

I couldn't resist propping the wheels up underneath it once i finagled it off the trailer. Can't wait to start putting it back together and get it on the road again. I noticed it has some pretty neat headlight covers on it but several of the clips are broke or missing. Just curious if any of yall have seen these before since Google has let me down and i can't find them anywhere.

Took the truck to the oral surgeon to have a drilling for an implant- yuk! Anyways, upon parking the truck and looking under the hood, noticed some white ish discoloration on the face of my fluid damper and some around the outer edge. It's like the look of what happens to galvanized sheet that's stacked, and moisture had gotten in between the sheets. Scaly like. Tried wiping some off, but it wouldn't wipe. ThrashingCows, has yours dis colored at all over time. I'm thinking something may have passed thru the intercooler, radiator, etc. while driving down the road, maybe? Doesn't coolant leaks form to some white ish scale upon dryness?

NJTman,
Wow, I like your pictures,
As much as you must dislike the snow, (or is it NJ) I think it looks nice,

I never see that here where I live, winter it is usually in the 70's and a little chilly at the beach.

I have to take a 30 minuet drive up the local mountains to get to anything called snow.

It must be neat to see your world go from green to pure white overnight, or is it brown the pure white?

Jim

I dislike the people, negativity and corruption of New Jersey. The state itself, besides the areas of urban blight, is quite beautiful. Shoreline, to mountains in an hour or so. Beautiful waterfalls, nature trails, parks and such. The climate is great because I get to experience all 4 seasons every year.

I love winter weather. I love pushing snow. I love the tranquility of being out at 3am and clearing properties, when there's no one out but fellow plow drivers, and all the idiots who live here are home in bed.

Here is a link to more pictures if you're really interested...

I'll be updating it as the storms move in.

This year, it was Green to white overnight, and today (this week) it's all melting away...

As an armature photographer the fourth one on the top row catches my eye.I like the way the road leads the eye to the subject. They are all nice though.

In the forth on the bottom It looks like the first path to the all important outhouse?
