Wastegate Question?

I just swapped a 12cm wastegated housing on my truck off of a wh1c i bought. It spools good up to 20 psi and then from 20 to 25 is kinda slow. Is my actuator getting weak? It looks like the original. Also my egts seem to be up a bit. Is that because of a more restricted housing?

Is the wastegate actuator hooked up to a source of boost?

The stock actuator is set for around 25 psi, so you will need a manual boost controller to get more.

Here it is but a boost controller looks like a cheaper route.

Yeah, for that price I'll stick with a boost controller.

I messed with it some more tonight and got the boost up to 27 by adjusting the rod but it still hits a wall at like 20 and it's slow to rise after that.

It hits the wall where the wastegate is starting to crack open....

Adjust the rod tighter....

I thought I had mine adjusted too tight because I couldn't get it move hardly at all even using a wrench to try opening it. Turns out it holds great up to ~ 44 - 45 then creeps up to 47 and stops there.
