Truck over revs now???
First of all just like to say hello to everyone. Okay installed 3200 gov spring now when the truck is running and i rev it up it will no rev back down. If i shut the key off when it is over reving and start it back up it will idle fine. The ilde screw and the fuel screw are turned back. Must be something in the pump itself i am guessing not sure though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
If the spring breaks or comes off it prolly won't even run. More likely you have the clocking wrong on the throttle shaft. Re-check your indexing on the shaft with the tick marks under the large allen nut. Most I've heard of are something like 4 down 1 up. I set mine so I could feel the tension of the spring inside the pump and then went from there.
i agree on checking the indexing. i did played with mine once putting it one tick further and one tick behind where it should be and the idle was surprisingly far off. a tick mark early and it wouldn't idle, a tick too far and it spun well over 1k rpm

Okay checked the gov spring it is still in place, and the top hat spring was put back on previously. The fuel screw is turned out far enough so i guess i will have to play with the indexing. Thanks.
