Transmission cooler problems

In the process of taking my running boards off, I discovered that the transmission cooler under the bed was just resting on a piece; the bolts were not holding it. However, the dealer doesn't think there was an under-bed transmission cooler offered and therefore can't find the bolts to hold it up. It looks like there was some rubber piece instead of a nut. Does anyone know where to find the bolts to mount it? I'm pretty sure the cooler is shot anyway (it's full of dirt and the fan turns too hard), but I need to have it held up anyway. Thanks for any help.

Edit: The other point of this thread was to announce that I am now a member of the shutoff cable crew. I found that bicycle brake cable works great!

The owners manual on mine states it was an option which by the way increases towing capacity another 2000lbs.

Thanks for the help guys. The transmission has lived for a while without the cooler so all I really need is a mounting kit. I may have to get creative if there's only one in the U.S. right now...

Is this the auxiliary transmission cooler you are talking about?
If it is it has a sheetmetel bracket at both ends and the bolts I think are 1/4" self-tapping sheetmetel screws. It has been awhile since I have had it down so they might have a weld nut in there.
You could use a well nut if you want it insulated from the frame.

Someone ran over a bottle of polish at the body shop, I need to wash the bottom of my truck yet.

I disconnected the thermal switch and have it connected to a toggle in the cab.

What's that, my spring bushing is rubbing?
I am getting my springs rearched in about a month or so. Just got to take them off.

Hope this helps
Later.

Yep, thats the one. Mine was packed full of gravel dust and rocks, but I got it cleaned out and tested the fan. Everything works, now I just have to get it bolted back up. Then it's on to the next problem... (steering problems)
