New gauges mounted.

I finally got the pyro installed to complete my trio. I got the AutoMeter gauge cups for the boost and pyro because I just don't like the post mount and mounting them lower down is to hard to see and more difficult also IMHO.

The boost peaks at 27# at WOT but then backs down to about 24# for some reason. The EGT's get up there pretty quickly to 1400-1500 degrees so I'm not happy with that. I need more air and probably less fuel. The truck will top 100 MPH though so I'm happy with the performance the way it is. I just don't like the idea of melted pistons and cooked turbo.

Thanks for the complements guys.

Looks good. How about a pic of your VE pump?

Thanks. I can go snap a pic of my pump but it looks like any other VE pump. Nothing special on the outside. Did you mean something else perhaps?

Hey, those are my gauges!

I wish I went with a dash mount like that. I mounted my pillar pods too high and now I need to figure out how to slid them down a few inches.

Stupid cheap Autometer pillar pod.
Darn 5 foot tall mother...

On a more serious note, is that thermocouple a 1/4 or 1/8 inch?

1/8 inch. I had to go buy a new tap. I already had a 1/4 inch.

The 2-1/16 inch mounting cups only cost $12.95 each from Summit Racing.

A bushing would have been cheaper.

Yes. You're right but I misguesstimated the position and the edge of the hole was right in line with the center divider. Also I like the concept of KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. The fewer parts in any assembly the less can go wrong.
