Dunno about the stock ones. These have a Ford stamp on them. I think my small/stock '93 mirrors vibrated more.

Make sure your idle isn't too low... some vibration there.

I blame it on those darn poly cab mounts...

I found a picture of my 83 Ramcharger that had the same mirrors as my 81. I wish I had never got rid of it.

I like the look of those mirrors and like them on my ‘77 W200. Ollie, you have any up there? I could use a replacement set for my ‘77, gotten loose and floppy over the years. No luck yet on ebay/craigslist.

I'm not a fan of "moose ears" but the guy did a very respectable job of mounting these, yes your wing windows wont open all the way but I really can't recall a time I ever did much more than just crack them open anyway

Any others pictures of that dually? Looks like a really clean job adapting the mirrors. The thing I'm finding out is that later model towing mirrors really stick out there unextended, doesn't matter what flavor - Dodge, Ford or GM.

I found a picture of my old 81 with the West Coast Trucker mirrors on it. Not very good, but the only one I could find.

I have a pair or three of the large 4 post tow mirrors in good shape.
I also have a couple of the west coast mirrors on some 1st gens, but think some of the options have some rust on the support arms.

Yikes, somewhere between the front "bumper" the ground effects flairs and those mirrors, he lost me.
I personally love those vent windows. I open them completely up, so it directs the air [and bees] right on me.
Having those goofy, to me at least, looking mirrors and loosing the vent windows full operation, would be a loose, loose proposition.
