Lost the darn tophat spring

Well the 3200 rpm spring install was ging pretty good and then when I went to take the spring out of the tophat it all went bad!! I guess my finger wasn't behind it good enough and it all went for a journey.. found it all but the spring, even with the white sheet under the truck.. So I guess I need to call around and try to find it.. I wonder if a Cummins dealer can get it? I'm sure this happened to more than just myself, this is like the 5th one I've done so far and they all went good besides this one

Cummins probably won't have it. You need a bosch pump shop.

Its not....I think..lol It runs good, still working out the bugs in the throttle travel, only getting like 3/4 throttle.. Need to bend the pedal arm or something.. But it runs good, so I don't think the spring is in there.. I'm sure it launched somewhere..

Did you adjust the throttle rod? its left hand thread, be careful.

Did you index the throttle shaft? I'd try moving it a spline before you go bending your pedal arm. that sounds silly

Oh...no, I have full pump travel and all that is good.. The pedal has about an inch of slop before it pulls on the cable.. No worries, easy fix.. When I get back in the shop on Mon I'll get it handled..
