fuel gauge

fuel gauge

for those of you running a fuel psi gauge in the cab are you using a fuel gauge isolator??? i was just thinking about if the line cracked or the gauge started to leak that would suck

No isolator on mine. On any mechanical pressure gauge you should put a valve on the engine so you can shut off the gauge in the event of a problem with the line or the gauge.

Most guys install a tapped banjo bolt in place of the factory banjo bolt after the fuel filter.

It's a very bad idea to plumb diesel fuel into your cab. It's illegal in all racing sanctioning bodies, and good tech guys will kick you off the track for it. Being stuck in a rollover and getting covered in fuel is not my kind of party!

It's in the stickies (from Bearkiller), but...

While it says for 24Vs, it's the correct part for our 12Vs. Worked perfectly on my truck...
