electric fuel psi gauge or mechanical fuel psi gauge?
Are you suppose to use a electric fuel psi gauge with electric fuel pumps and a mechanical fuel psi gauge with a mechanical fuel pump???

User preference is all it is. I use mechanical. The only difference in the gages is how it reads the pressure. Electric ones use a sender that reads pressure, gives it a "value" for the gauge to read. Mechanical gauges use the actual pressure to move the gauge.

X2 on the user preference. I like my electric guage and have not had any problems with it. I figured by the time I bought and isolator for a mechanical guage I was getting close to the price of an electric one, so I went the electric route.

I've had both and will never have another mechanical one. Isolators/needle valves, bleeding, refilling totally not worth the effort. Buy electronic, screw in the sender run one wire and forget it. PSI is PSI it doesn't matter how the gauge reads it.
