About 13/16" more than stock. But your results may vary.

really roaddawg... the smarty is one of the best programmers on the market for our trucks. You'll be unbelievably surprised and how it will wake up your truck.

You will however need to upgrade some other things if you want to use it to it's full potential. There's 9 levels of programmer and it's not recommended to go over 3 on a stock tranny. You'll also find yourself in need of more fuel at some point so a aftermarket lift pump will be needed too.

I love my Smarty, loved it from day 1. Check out the Smarty Anonymous Club thread and you will see for yourself. we are steadily growing.

But just to be honest, if you have an early 04 model and you are tight on money the Diablo will also work really well for the money, just don't expect any good customer service or current updates. The Smarty offers the best support of any vendor in the electronics business.

I only drag my off shore fishing boat that weighs in at about 4000# give or take 500 depending how much fuel is in it. And with the stock CTD 04 HO is can spin the wheels if I get on it too hard. I am really looking for a milage increase. Og course I like power also... How much gain in MPG does the Smarty help. They say the Diablo can help up to 30%, So I figure it gets about 20% or +3 mpg.

WIth the pred can you download yourself from the internet? Their site seems to say you have to go to the dealer.

nope u can download from thier site, they have some pretty high hp tunes on thier, and ones for stacking with prsure boxes too,for the price u cant beat them, they work very well on tthe 03-04s.u can buy 3 of them for the price of a smarty,im not bashing the smarty at all,i had one on my 01 and it was awsome, but they are kinda pricey, grab the pred here for 165,u wont be disapointed, for that price its cheaper than a standalone code reader which it also does.

Diablo might suck but for half the price and I do not need to have any more HP than I got WHY NOT. Fuel savings is what I want. ROI do you understand that? The unit in the class sold already. DAMM

I have driven 500+ HP stock cars on 1/2 to 3/4 asphalt short tracks so I lost my need for speed and my nuts are big enough.
