You have no way of controlling the VG section of the turbo. There is no aftermarket controller made for it. "Yet" LOL

There's been a ton of these new 6.7 turbos going through eBay for quite awhile now.

They are having problems with the vanes sticking. Do some reading in 3rd gen sections. Dodge used to replace the turbo's when the vanes got all sooted up and stoped working. Now they just drill a hole and shoot some type of cleaner in. It seems to work for just a little while. Most seem to go back a few times before Dodge will replace them.

Haha I'll spill the beans after I save up enough money to buy one myself. They're pretty cheap but money is tight this month. I don't want to give details because more people will want them afterwards. This will increase prices lol.

Yeah, I knew about the problems with the turbos, just not how/why they all seem to be showing up on eBay.

But then again, eBay is the best place to buy junk, good, bad or otherwise.

Sounds like water/meth would be a good remedy for that. And a good excuse to install it

those turbos are so common, I believe because they were warrantied so often for being sooted up from those 6.7 emissions doohickies. Clean em up and they're good to go.
