2001 cummmins injector pump
#16
He was talking about using the 24v head.
The person that started the thread was asking about putting a VP44 on a 12 valve. A couple of people mentioned custom injector lines. No need for custom. With the correct CPL # you can buy the lines from cummins.

Cummins generators come in all shapes and sizes. Most government based buildings still use a ve or p-pump style injection pump. A lot of the new business generators use a vp or some other form of electronic injection. Most all i've seen have only 2 valves per cylinder. Other than a johndeere that had 4 valves i haven't seen a cummins.
That being said i'm sure as philip mentioned there are lines available for the 12valve to vp44

This is kind of OT, but kind of on topic.... has anyone ever put a (98.5-02) 24V head on a first gen engine and still utilized the VE pump?
Just curious. Seems like it might be a waste of time unless you had to get your truck running and had a busted 24V engine to pull the head from.

The two refences about lines were with the 24v head.
