I have rear disk brakes, but I also have hood insulation, which I thought was discontinued in the 2001.5?

My 01.5 has rear discs but no hood insulation. Perhaps some came with insulation and others didn't, depending on supply and demand at assembly?

~Dave

Re:2001-2001.5

I believe the rear disks is the telltale sign of an 01.5. Many of the 01.5's started having some of the stuff deleted but it seems they got deleted as the items ran out of inventory.

Re:2001-2001.5

According to the Turbo Diesel Buyers Guide, a 2001.5 model is made up of four-wheel disc brakes which are standard with vented rotors, integral drum parking brake.

Also, four-wheel ABS standard, with new dynamic rear proportioning braking system.

Sounds like a '01.5 is all in the brakes.
