1990 D250 to W250
Thank you Brian, I had some troubles but worked through them. Geez it has been close to fifteen years since I used a paint gun. but toward the end I was using my left hand too.
It's good to have this part done. The rest should be easier. we shall see.
I was smart this time I painted the nooks and crannies first then the inside of the frame, the rest was easy.
Hmmm....flat plate with bolts welded(?) on.....I want to say it's a delete plate for the rear RWAL valve. But why you would choose to put a blank plate there, when you could leave the holes open, I don't know? Unless you plan on mounting something else on that plate?

The plate doubles as a washer and wrench.
I have a tough time getting my fingers and a wrench in there at the same time.
I just read through all 14 pages of this thread... and it makes me feel Soooooooo good...
to know that someone else is lying on their back doing the same thing I'm doing, and having fund doing it..
I will say that your job is SO MUCH Prettier than mine. Mine is second time around, so I'm just happy to get it covered up and protected.
What primer and paint are you using ????
Great job....

Kinda funny two guys doing the same thing to the same brand and age of trucks on opposite ends of the country at that same time. pretty cool!
There is a vast difference in conditions we use our trucks in. Most people wouldn't have bothered with painting mine. but while it was apart I couldn't resist.
Yours looks pretty good too. Beats the hell out of the alternative.
