I found a site yesterday that lists them for $65. I don't know anything about the site, but it looks to be a heavy equipment parts place out of Florida. I think the part # you are looking for is 3936316. You can also search my post a couple of days ago about one on ebay. I haven't had a chance to pull the old one yet to ensure that the plungers are the same length, but they are interchangeable, so I think that it will work fine.

I did check with Precision Diesel , and they had rebuilt ones for $95 ,
Now that tells me that there is a source for a kit , becouse they can'nt rebuild em with out parts .

Lift pump , some symptoms
I started having 1 1/2 mpg's less millage & when the tank got below about 1/3 on the gauge , it would not start after sitting at lest 4 hrs. without some playing with the throdle , & more throdle the longer it sat or the lower the tank got .
So replaced the lift pump [ Marty Tompkins , Precsision Diesel Performance and Turbo , Michigan , { I'll edit for ph. # when I can find } ] .
$95 + $10 sh.
It was a larger housing than the org. but had to take the right angle fitting off the org. to finish the instl. - the original was marked AC , made in England .
Now it seems to run with a little less throdle , the millage came back , but I haven't got to a low tank yet .
Took the old one apart and the check valves would hardly hold and there was a small peice of metal in the supply side .
Hope this helps others with these symptoms .

Lift Pump?
Hey, I'm new to the Cummins. Had a 6.9 for the last 10 years still runs but the rest of the truck is rotting away. The Dodge ran fine till friday 4:30 am when I leave for work cranked but would not fire. Today starting with simple things changed the fuel filter, pumped the primer and had fuel leaking in my hand. So since this is leaking fuel is this why it won't start, and is this the lift pump? HELP.

It could be lift pump or many other things , you need to find the leak , try putting 2-3lbs of air pressure in the fuel tank and follow the fuel lines , hoses and all the components [ lift pump , fuel heater ecy. ] when you see the spray thats where the leak is .
Fix the most obveouse 1st , then see if you still have a problum .
