I did not put my plug in the bed but you will soon find out that were the dodge guys put it will rip your plugs out almost every time. I mounted mine flush in the back bumper as I run with no tail gate. When I get my flat deck on it will be on the back of the bed also. Also in the oem spot it really takes on water and eats the plugs like a fat kid eats cake.

Can you jackknife your trailer with out pulling anything out of place? The in bed kit is easy to install. no cutting or splicing of wires. one hole for the connector and your set..it takes longer to wire tie the harness into place than installing it..I've had more problems with the Turnover Ball freezing into place(-30 to - 40 temps) than the in-bed harness taking on water..Why do you take off your tail gate?

After you forget to lay your tailgate down the 1st time. Thats why there is so many bowed tailgates in farming country.

Yup I can jack knife my trailer in some stupid spots and not worry about pulling the any thing out of its home. I take my tail gate off because it is so much easier too get hooked up just back under and un hook not having too worry about smashing the tail gate. Also because some of the country I go though i need to be able too have some room too not smash any thing hence why there will be a flat bed in the future,

Tailgate? What's a tailgate. Actually what's a truck bed? I always had flatbeds - never a problem. The guy down the road from me, just installed a 12ft alum flatbed on his new 5500. Now when I run out of room, I can pile more rice on his bed!

Now all you need to do is to figure out how to make Bio-Diesel from all that rice
