wrong year ez???
wrong year ez???
ok i bought my truck a fuw months ago and have seemed to have little things go wrong with it sence i got it. heres the newest, i just found out that the ez module that came with my truck is for a 2001 not 1999. other then different conecters is that really a big deal???
Yeah, that module won't work on the '99 because the voltage values for the MAP sensor are different. Between '01 and '02 they make adapter plugs so they can interchange, but '98.5-'00 are their own box.
So you're saying you have this box plugged in? How did the connectors managed to get hooked up? As far as I know, the connectors were completely different between the '99 and the '01.
I doubt it would cause blow by, but it might explain low mileage. I'd have to look at the voltage specs, but the boost fooling function could be sending incorrect boost readings to the computer which could screw with mileage.

I just googled your part number and its for a 2001
When I bought mine it came with the adapter to use it on an 02, so it will fit both yrs, but needs the MAP adapter to work on the 02
