wrong year VA box
got a va box from my dad (2001 model) a couple a weeks ago and it does not fit my truck (99 model), the main plug fits but the small plug is the wrong shape... (square not round)
can i splice the small plug wires in ?
2nd question do i need a boost elbow ?? if so where do i get one ?

As you found out the MAP sensor plug is different. Yes you can adapt the harness, however the MAP sensor voltages were also changed in 2001. I'm assuming the VA box has the boost fooler incorporated into it?
