I've really careless in my verbage lately, and you guys are good to catch me in it.

What I was saying is that the 4718 WITH the stg 3 could do 800hp. But the 3788 is going to be pretty restrictive (as Nathan mentioned) and that's going to drop the power capability of the 4718 down off the 1000 mark it's normally capable of. Swap that 3788 for a 4094 and you'll have over 900hp worth of air.

Anyway, my other point was the the 4718 is the biggest turbo that a stg 3 can "light" -- but I'm NOT saying it's a good match-- the stg 3 is almost done with just trying to light the 4718-- not much "compounding."

From my own estimations, the twins "matches" I'd consider are:
-- Stg 1 (3782) over 4202 w/ tight housing. (best for versatility--lotsa area under the curve). Should handle 500hp all day.
-- Stg 3 (3788) over 4508 w/ 1.15 housing (best compromise twins between towable and hi-hp). This should do 750hp.
-- 4094 over 4718 (all out but you have to choose either lag or surge from the 4094).

I'm also considering a stg 3 (3788) over a 4202 with the larger housing to help it breathe.
