tst pm3 or edge juice with cts, give opinions please
I am going to do a smarty for sure, so which chip should I stack with it. I like the edge juice with cts but for that price I can buy the tst pm3 and the smarty both for the price of the edge. I have to decide by Monday because that is when I get my truck into the shop. I am also doing the tranny and a bigger turbo and bigger injectors as well as studding the head.

All the safety features, like letting the motor warm-up to 140 before it adds fuel, turbo cool down timers/temp settings, de-ueling for settable temps, pressures and such. Not to mention it is like have a full set of guages.
Oh, and it makes a ton of power too!

Get the Edge Juice w/ Attitude instead of CTS. That'll give you the power, gauges, and save you some moolah. Honestly, I couldn't imagine having my truck now without the Edge....

I've run the edge comp box for 7 years now. Its works and cheap. If you look around you'll get one less than $300. I prefer gauges, as I don't trust the digital stuff. The smarty really only improve drivablity, some what. It doesn't add any power and actually might hurt top end power.
Which turbo and injectors you going to run?

i am running the smarty tst-pm3 stack and love it. really easy to fine tune if needed, and is relatively clean as the tstpm3 doesn't add fuel until it sees boost. i had the smarty before hand, and really didn't notice too much smoke increase, but i did notice a ton of power increase! i run standalone gauges, so gauges were not an issue for me. althogh - i am thinking about picking up a quadzilla monitor to run as digital gauges, so i can set alerts - this won't de-fuel for me, but it will let me know when i need too.
over on CF users just rave abou the tst smarty stack. you can kick it up a notch more and run the ts-mvp along with it (or an edge ez, or quad xzt+ - these canonly be run with smarty on fuel only settings.)
i just did 436hp with my truck in sig. i think there might be more there, because i think my VP is getting weak . ..

i see you already have the quadzilla commander (i think that's the monitor only). in that case - go with the tst, you won't regret it. also keep in mind, the tst is rated for the same HP with fuel ONLY, it does nothing for timing adjustments - the timing will come from the smarty . . . edge and quadzilla boxes are rated at the same HP with timing AND fuel combined.

I don't like the electronic stuff and their always seems to create one issue or another when you stack. If I was to buy another programmer, I would just do a P pump conversion. At least then it works and its consistant.
Jason, you're truck with a 180 or 215 pump, tweaked right, you'll be at around 700-800rwhp area, with those injectors. I was at one of local GTG a week or so ago. Brett and I did a run, his stock 97 truck (except a few pump tweaks and gov springs), walked away from my truck. Brett still can get another 50-100cc's of fuel (more tweaks). Of course its abit smokey without twins.
