Are the features different between the two? My buddy just bought the Edge Juice with Attitude and got it primarily to monitor tranny temp etc on his 2004.5 Dodge. After installing he realized it didnt offer those features. On another online forum (cummins forum) the Edge rep under a Insight CTS thread stated that they had just come out with a new update that would allow all the models 2003 and newer to be able to view tranny temp etc. He said that the update allowed the Insight to read the trucks computer and display the information. So, my buddy got the update and it still doesnt display any new info. My question is whether this only pertains to the Insight not the Edge Juice with Attitude CTS. Seems odd that the Edge with Attitude couldnt download and display those features. Any input from anybody?

Im going with a Smarty Jr and Insight on mine, not even going to mess with it.

I too am wanting to go smarty jr and insight cs.
What parameters will I see on a 05 5.9 ?
I also want to put in the EGT probe, hopfully that is possible

 

to my knowledge, these trucks dont have a built in tranny temp. and if it did, its not taking it from the correct spot. It would be cool if they did put a plugin for tranny temp like the EGT probe that comes with the edge.

 

Well I may as well answer my own question. I called Edge tech and I guess they released a software update a month ago and now includes
EGT
Boost pressure
Trannny temp

Also the CS monitor will fit into the a-pillar mount

 

I know many more parameters are available on 2006+ trucks than the 2003-2005's.
