new turbo

i recetnly got a new turbo a hx-55 and was curious to all the guys out there will it change the sound at all from my turbo goin from 3" off the turbo to 4" just curious

like a change in the sound of the exhaust if that makes sence

Not really, but it will run better with 4" if that's what size the turbine outlet is

3" will choke it, and make it more laggy...and an HX55 won't need any help with being laggy

If it's a stock hx55 it will have a 5" outlet/downpipe. I hope you got a modified 55.

I've never seen a stock HX55 with a 5" outlet...the M11's we use have HX55-18's on them with an HX40 outlet!

Now that would be the desireable stocker combo there, with the 18cm housing. The ones I've seen have 22-26cm housings with 5" outlet.

I need to double check, but I'm pretty sure it's an 18. I know it's a T4 inlet, and 4" outlet...but not exactly sure on housing size

its a 4" outlit so a hx40 down pipe will hook upto it
