look at this cummins conversion into short truck

I did some adjusting on a friends truck:
its a 1500 ram short box single cab, it had a v6 gas, in which he installed a cummins, to that one a bigger turbo...

Here is his home made 4 inch exhaust, from turbo to back,
with this funny looking 4" exhaust tip:
He rolled it by hisself

how-s it?

Front suspension hold the cummins up OK? Neat project, looks like he's a talented guy.

I might have left the badges off the door so ricers would think it was just a horrible sounding gasser....then blow their doors off and leave them chokin in some smoke! That's a cool conversion though...that has to be something to look at.

thanks for your opinions...

untill now the front suspension holds, but he wants to put on some better-thougher-higher springs under it, so it will be higher, its a little low in the front.

At least take off the V and Put a I in front of the 6, He will have to beef up the front end, but he will get what he puts into it back with all the fun he'll have. Goodluck,,Rick

i think you might have some traction problems racing rice burners, if that rear axle holds up. you got a good start though.

yep the torgue will get your attention. slicks were use at the strip. ran a best 1/8 of 8.6 with a worn out engine. good engine should run mid 7s.
