reg cab short bed vs club cab long bed conversion

hi guys,

I am just bought my 1991 dodge Cummings inter-cooled and am planing on swamping it into another truck one that fits my uses better being that i need a 4x4 but i don't know what i want to swap it into more i have a 1990 dodge power ram club cab with a long bed i also have a 1989 dodge ram regular cab short bed. i just want to see what you guys think. I am currently planning on swamping a 440 into the regular cab and drag racing it. and using the other one as the the tow truck. just want to see what you guys think.

Thanks shane

Are either one 3/4 ton?

I'd put the engine in whichever truck is 3/4....obviously the shortbed won't be but the club cab is 3/4 ton or no?

Play or tow vehicle?

Play, RCSB definately. The weight reduction would help drag racing and finding a parking spot.

Tow, get a 3/4tonner. You will be happier.

1990 is my vote. More room and if its gonna be the tow truck then you have more room in the bed for things for the race truck.
