If so does work anyone know where to get one and how much? Please enlighten me. Thanks
Did you do it yourself or the dealer, cause im sure you could get away with using it, if it failed the dealer wouldn't know

On the pump i bought in Dec. they took it off and put the new one on and never asked any questions about it and i swear it had a chip in it before because of some of the things done to it, but the dealer had no clue. But if it works to fool my Dad then i may have to buy one since i told him i would leave it untapped until i save money for new trans and i don't think i'll have to have to mess with the fuel system for awhile. Thanks

I lost my VP about a month ago and just got around to ordering one last wednesday. I could only turn the shaft on my core about 20 degrees and it would stop untill I banged it around and then it would turn another 20 and so on. All the rebuilders I talked to said it was a bad core in other words $ 250.00 and up pluss the cost of the rebuild. The only rebuilder that will take it without a charge was Midwest fuel injection, $1046 no core charge, free shipping both ways. I asked if I could keep tabs on my old pump to see what failed and they said they do up to 100 core a day so there was no way to keep track of it. It would be interesting to find out how many VP's are biting the big one every day in this country. Talk about needing a class action!!
