clutch question

I am wondering what is the best clutch kit to purchase for my truck? I have the factory clutch still in. I am planning to put bigger injectors about 65 hp I guess, bigger turbo and stack a smarty chip on it also.

please help me with some input and where to purchase this clutch kit from.

I have always used Valair. Call and ask for Dan. From what I can see - the quality is the same as SBC and the customer service from Dan is absolutely unbeatable. Just tell him what your plans are for the truck and he will hook you up accordingly

Another vote for Valair. I have had no problems out of mine.

Well I DID have a problem with my Valair clutch, through abuse. They made it right though with no questions, and discounted the price of the old one to a new one. I tried sled pulling with a stock size full ceramic, smoked it to pieces. Gary (I think was his name) suggested me to a 13" Kevlar/Ceramic, and has so far been better for what I use it for. I will say, if I could afford it, I would have bought a SB, but I am happy with the Valair's option.

Valair hooked my friend Tim up with a dual disk setup (flywheel to throwout bearing) and a new input shaft for less than the price of a SB heavy single..... He drives it like Richard Petty every day. 3rd and 4th gear boosted launches and massive burnouts! I have had their clutches in all three cummins I've owned!

It seems both companies are producing excellent products. I went with SB and ordered direct for the simple fact that I was already on the phone with them and they had what I wanted in stock. My 3250dd has handled some pretty serious abuse with no complaints.
