boost guage install

i have a 02 and dont know where to hook up the boost guage, where do you put the lil thingy that reads the pressure.......i know its some where on the intake but i cant find it......

You'll probaby get a couple different ways to install it, but I did it this way. If you look on the drivers side of the block ( can't remember if it is in front or behind the fuel filter ) but anywhoo there is a 3/4" plug that is threaded into the block. If you take an extension for a ratchet and insert it into the square opening, unscrew it and remove. Then go to home depot or Lowes and you can get a couple reducers to get down to the size you need to screw in the piece that came with your guage. It actually worked extremely easy and works great.


I know others tap into the intake horn for theirs but I just didn't feel like drilling.

there should be a 3/4 MPT plug in the intake right next to the map sensor, hook it up there, you may need to go to the hardware store to get fittings to hook it up correctly.
