Nu Finish... WOW
Let me start for the Admin I am not a dealer nor do I sell Any products..!!
Yesterday I was watching TV and saw an ad for Nu Finish.. Ya know the one where they put it on a junk yard hood and it looks like new...
Well I was in Pep Boys buying a set of jack stands and I saw it there... Well My 16 year old S-10 has been looking pretty shabby and the paint is so thin the primer is showing through in a couple of small spots from to much waxing.
The hood and roof is very oxidized and last time I waxed it it only lasted about a month. I picked up the bottle thinking What the heck what can it hurt..
WOW!!!! wiped it on and wiped it off.. no scrubbing buffing anything.. Sides look better than new... Hod and roof are back to about 90% of new.. We will see if it actually lasts a year like they claim.. But so far the (IMHO) the TV ad is no myth!!

I've been using Nu Finish for about 10 years now and will never never use anything else.
Don't forget to tell 'em how easy it was to use also. Easy on - Easy off, and does last for a good 6 months before having to wax again.

I tried the regular waxes and the paint is so bad they really just smear...and is VERY hard to get off...
Here is a picture after Nu Finish.. mind you the shell was almost grey and was a gel coat shell not painted.. The hood and roof had No reflection and felt like sand paper... Sides were in pretty good shape.. Doesn't look to bad for an origional paint never garaged 16 year old truck that get washed maybe once a month..

Wait till you apply it in the hot sun and then you can't get it to wipe off!!! I have some and used to think it was great too, but.........
Now I use Zaino and it's awesome stuff. Smells like bubblegum too. Mmmm.....

I've used nu-finish for years - tried a few other more costly brands, and they never seemed to work as well. Hard to beat teflon. It's in such a "generic" looking bottle that it draws very little attention.
Dodgezilla - I made the mistake, once, of waxing a car in the hot sun - and three hours of sweating later, I learned my lesson. That was with Turtle Wax, and since then I've always found a shade tree, a garage, whatever I could.

I've used NF a lot in years past. It works VERY well on boats! (prevents oxidation on old fiberglass).
I've moved on, though.I've been VERY happy with the Meguiar's NXT paste that I'm presently using.

I use the Meguiars NXT as well. Love it on my car! I tried the new Ice stuff, it works really well for being synthetic. Makes it shine! My Uncle always used Nu Finish on his Plymouth laser lol, Loved the stuff. My dad I cant get him to wax his truck so I do it, and I just go over it with the Armor All wax it dry stuff so it at least has something.... Nu finish is supposed to be really good though!

Another one here who has used nu finish for 20+ years. It does work pretty good. I have never gotten a year out of it but nonetheless it is easy to use and results are good. I also have moved on to Zainos which I like better and does do a better job but the cost is significantly more and the work is at least triple. So I find myself not waxing as I should and have been considering going back when I run out of Zainos.
