kdp was awaken this morning at 7:30. for its last meal it had a nice drive to newtown square pa. its last words were ........ uh oh theres dave.......... ill keep you informed of more details.....scott

UPDATE: .... at 10 am this morning mr.kdp was pronounced dead. a big thanks to Dave ( wannadiesel ). what a great guy. was 7 degrees when i left to go to his place this morning. he did the kdp outside in the cold. if you have a kdp that needs to meet its maker you really should pm Dave..... thanks again Dave, Scott

Well I am not as dump as I was. I now know that the KDP is a pin under the timing gear cover. But what does KD stand for? I got the last part P= pin. Or did I not read very well.
Or maybe I am just to stupid to get it. After working all day I am a little brain fried but I did not think it was that bad.

Killer, cause it makes lively engines not so lively anymore.
Dowel, cause it looks like a little dowel rod (?)
Pin, cause it's goes between two parts to temporarily hold them in the right place.
Proud owner of a for certain new timing gear cover redisign.
(haven't heard of any 2002's at all with the problem)
