Another KDP Killed
;D ;D ;DI deciced to take a look and see what the pin has done....well I found mine had moved about 3/16.<br>So I tapped it back in....and Tabbed it.<br>Im glad I did it....I have thought about it a million times but can never seem to find the time to look at it.....I did today....all is good now. <br>

I finally did mine last weekend after worrying about it for two years - never had the time. I only put 3,000 km on the 97 in the last year because I felt the old 91.5 was more reliable. It was about the same as yours, 1/8 inch out. After tapping it in, it is about 1/16 th below flush with housing surface. I loctited the pin, and tabbed it. I was amazed how loose the housing bolt was, so I used blue loctite on that as well. Was yours loose? I had new gasket and seal on hand but after looking at how good they were, I just re-used the old seal/gasket and did not leak a drop. <br><br>I find it odd that my 91.5 has had fewer issues than my 97 and yet Cummins and Dodge have had an extra 6 years to supposedly refine the design.
