I decided to get a hood ornament for my new truck...thoughts?

Having wet dreams flipping through J.C. Whitney catalogs as a kid, I always told myself when I finally got a sweet truck I would get a nice hood ornament for it. What do you think?

I love this kid.

Give her a hamme and she can knock the crap out of any cows or deer that come close to the truck and save your paint!!!

That' not a hood ornament. You must have entered the catalog number in wrong. it's a light wiper motor. The wiper arm is there, but the little rubber squeegee blade that it's suppose to hold is missing. Also, there should be another one on the other side. Left had and right hand models available.

Cute kid. Looks real comfortable...legs crossed, smiling. She loves your truck.
Maybe put a helmet on for the test run.
My daughter just turned four...and it only seems like yesterday that she was born. Enjoy!

Only problem with that child seat is that I don't see the seat belts and I think they are supposed to be in the back seat, not on the hood. Other than that, good looking hood ornament. Post some pics back once you have some bugs in her teeth.

Off Topic but speaking of bug whipped...A friend had his stag just outside of town at an old airplane hanger. We had a bus seat bolted into the bed of one of our trucks. He wanted to go for a rip down the runway so we strapped him in, turned up the stereo and away we went. After a brisk 90mph run down the runway we decided to take him into town...on display in his seat.

He passed out and had welts all over his face and neck from grasshoppers hitting him. We still wonder how he never got one in the eyes but he did have a fat lip and bug juice all over him. Good thing the party was a wk before the wedding. He didn't look as bad on his wedding day but you could still see a few lumps.

Sorry for the hi jack...back to topic now.

It's a kid sitting in a brush guard...I think it's OK to get a bit off-topic.

Rumor has it there is another wiper in the making for the other side.

Excellent!
I have a pic around here somewhere of my daughter sitting in the seat of a big MACK dumptruck and she was around 1 yr old.

I don't think getting a hood ornament for your truck would be a very good trade. Then again, maybe you like to collect hood ornaments.

Cute, now if you just add the poka dots to the truck it'd be perfect.
