Diesel prices .....WOW!!!!

Just got back from Burkeville, saw most diesel prices along the way are 10 - 15 cents higher than PREMIUM unleaded gas.

Diesel is always the same or higher than Supreme here and we have a refinery right here in town!! They still say Transportation costs are part of the high prices

#2 is from $3.95 to $4.15 a gallon here with most averaging $4.05

Our diesel prices are $4.49 to a US gallon. And thats a deal. Gas just went down to $4.61 from $4.91. That is a for regular unleaded, premium is $5.36. Note that these are US gallons and we export 70% of our fuel to the United States!!!

Welcome to Canada!!!

I don't get it.

I don't understand why the oil companies are allowed to sell our sovereign mineral on the open market, before satisfying our needs here. They'd make plenty here before selling the balance internationally. The economy could sure benefit from cheaper energy costs.
Canada's in the same boat. $5.00/gallon up there and it's their oil.
