This was posted on Moparts.com the other day. This Moparts member is asking for your help. For all you SoCal members here that also own muscle cars please keep an eye out.

Someone stole my 1967 Barracuda Fastback this morning around 8AM out of my garage. They also stole my CR450 which was behind. I don't care about the bike, the car was my baby. Not sure where Menifee is but if near the Mexican border it may already be across.

They used to steal 67-78 Fords where I grew up in San Diego and they were usually gone south for good. A racing friend of mine saw his brothers truck in Tecate during the 1000 and never could get it back.

I hope your car is found. Do you have any banks or surveillance camera footage available to you from around your neighborhood? It may have been run into a car carrier type trailer and nobody may have seen it.

Also assuming it was a CA plate, 7 digit white with Red California and blue numbers/letters?

Wow that stinks.
Hope he finds it.
I might understand someone snatching a pickup or SUV to take across the border, but not a classic muscle car.

A clean classic muscle like that brings big money once its south of the border, or makes its way to the shipping yards (think movie "Gone in 60 Seconds).

I feel for his loss ..... that car is incredible for its age

It's almost impossible to get a car or vehicle into the shipping yards without having the proper paperwork. US Customs is harder to deal with then the IRS..

Wow, that sucks.

I loved my 68 baccaruda when I had it. Let it go a few years ago.... due to "rust".

Hope you get her back......

Someone has been watching you.... and it usually turns out to be "Neighbor" related.

Good luck !
