no the pyro is still broke. I really haven't needed the gauge. I don't why everyone makes such a big deal about egt's. I guess that I'm just too lazy. Once I get a HX-35 and a hot pipe, I'll fix the gauge. Until then I really don't need it. Its very rarely that the truck sees any wot blast. Its been about three days since I pulled 70psi of boost coming home from downtown. Its only been broke about 8 months now, so why get excited.

Holy Krap, is this thread is still going?

To bad I missed the Dyno day, seems like a good group of guys.

Since it's all locals....any one know where a guy can pick up a new HX40 for El-cheap-O?

Hey Mike, when are you going to the HX35 twins? If you hang on for a month or two, I might have one for sale. I think Jamie might have me convinced on a bigger single.

At a boy Tate, lets buy them up. I'm convinced to do up a HTT SS or a Silver 62. Doug at PDW has me leaning towards a HTT and the customer service is suppose to be top notch!!!

I think the HTT is the way to go, as I hear they are awesome for customer service. Getting turbos upgraded through them is quite a bit cheaper compared to II. I think a 62/13 would be the way I'm leaning. I was talking to 99globalwarmer, whos running the 62 with a k31 primary and says it spools right quick. Apparently he was running a bht3be with a 20cm housing. Instant spool, but got hot up top.

How soon are you looking to do this? I should be at a shut down sometime after the 15th for roughly 4 weeks. Hopefully I'll have about $4k of wastable money, so a turbo and a p-pump conversion should fit that bill quite nicely.

Is your FASS a 150gph 95 series, or a 95 gph 150 series? What kind of pressure are you running?

I went with the 95 series(small filters)/150gph. I think a quick diesel 64ss is my choice to cool up high. Hopefully by the end of the month. I have to put in a clutch first...

Whats a good upgrade for the HY35? I heard thaey aren't really upgradable. Would I need to goto an HX35 and then upgrade that?

Tate,
I'm still interested in your pump, any chance you'll have it out for the end of March?

Any body planning on going to the BD dyno outing this spring? I throwing around the idea. They probably using there mustang dyno. It would be hard to beat silver bullet mark of 740+rwhp. This year they also have a sunday drag race. I like to see how fast I could run at sea level.

April 21,22. The 21 is the dyno day and the 22 is the mission raceway. Let me know if you're going. I like to go to Kamloops on the Friday. Wake up early then drive to BD thingy Saturday. The rooms are cheaper in Kamloops than Fraser Valley. It difficult to put up with the BD bs rant but its cool to hang with normal diesel guys. Mission has a great track and your truck will hook-up and make tons of power as the air there is always great. The beer there is good too. My ph# is 403-560-6967, call me if your going.

March? Its a bit late for that. May, I sure hope so. Once I go to work and then get laid off, I'll have that kit ordered and hopefully be tearing into the engine. I'll have a pump, two APPS's (one was throwing a code, but worked good), Smarty, and possibly a 150 series FASS. Probably some other misc. parts that I don't see right now that might be worth a buck or two. I'll let everyone know what I have and how the swap is going. I'm sure I'll be on here a lot with questions and the like.

Jamie, what clutch are you going with? Also, how come you're going with a 64? Doug suggest that? I'd be interested to know how much difference is gonna be between the 62 and 64. 62's sound like they'd be better than a 64 if they're in twins (which may or may not happen for me), and I've also heard that a 64 doesn't provide much more cool, and less spool. All tradeoffs, I guess.

I won't have it out by April, just not in the cards. Hopefully in May though. I'll let you know when it happens.
