o4.5 problems help

Greeting's all!!Well i never had any problems with my rig, besides a dose of "death wobble"till tonight.my wife and i were coming home from a great day of rockcrawling(suzuki).while pulling the trailer i was feeling a clunking noise, and got out to see if i broke something.i found nothing, till i pulled away.its really hard to explain.its a farting sound/hesation with extreme smoking..very strange.i still have tons of power to about 60km/35mph then its starts with all the noises etc.is my injectors,vp,lift pump, fuel filter?i'm totally nervous bringing it to dodge even thou i have 40,000k left on my warranty.i took out the programers(can they tell?)and also worried that i did a cat converter delate.
i'm very unsure what to do.HELP HELP HELP!!!thanks joe

I think you should have filled out your sig and given us a chance to advise you to remove the fueling box before you took your truck into the dealer for warranty work.

p.s. it doesn't sound like #1 injector to me...

i opted to go ahead with work etc..turns out i'll be able to keep my warranty i think they were breaking *****..lesson learned thou!!i will certainly disconnect everything next time, and consult you guys prior to any work perfromed etc.i own 3 diesels and i still feel like i have no bloody idea whats going on with them.i'm totally clueless what the hell is going on...lift pumps, injector pumps, glow plugs etc GEEEZZZZZZZZ!!i'm dying to figure it all out..

one thing that puzzles me,why would the dealership want to void the warranty when dodge pay's hours to dealership/tech's etc?keeping them working etc.wouldn't be a bad business move?atleast at the dealership's point of view, losing work, losing customers, etc?

They get paid a rate of like 30/hr for warranty work DC. From Bigzook69 they get paid 89/hr plus full mark up on part. I am sure DC just replaces the part.

But one thing you might want to check at another dealer is. Did the dealer put in a warranty claim also?

At least with the Cummins, you won't have to worry about glow plugs.
