2004 just died

I was with my buddy and his 2004 just died. Truck started about 30 minutes later and ran for about 20 more minutes and died again. Got the truck back home and let it sit for about 2 hours. He started up the truck and was letting it idle and it died again.

I own a 94 dodge so I am unfamiliar with the code reading on the dash. So I am going to do a search right now for that procedure. Truck seems to be shut off because lack of fuel. Lift pump of injection pump???

Thanks.....

Codes

P0633 SKIM Secret Key Not Entered
P0628 Low Voltage Detected At The Fuel Lift Pump Relay
P0602 Checksum Error

So what do these codes mean?

does it have an updated lift pump? if not it will be mounted on the fuel filter housing, you can try tapping on it with a hammer lightly, i dont think you can still buy this style pump, due to the update and failure rate of that pump

Is the lift pump recall issue?

Sounds like he should not drive the truck. Good chance if it is the lift pump it could take the injection pump with it......

Thanks for the replies.....

What after market lift pump would be a good choice? We need to get the truck running by Sunday. We might be able to get an after market lift pump at our local Summit Racing......

Not a recall issue.......you can go FASS or Airdog or a number of better than OME after market pumps.
