Repair Manual

I have done some searching, and I cannot find a repair manual for JUST the motor. I would like one that is about the motor such as rebuilds, timing adjustments, and all other things also. I have one for the truck itself but nothing about the motor. any advice?
Thanks,
Wheelo

About $90, but worth every cent.

Covers both the truck and the engine thoroughly.

You want the Cummins Troubleshooting and Repair manual. Go to Cummins' website, you can get it from the Cummins PowerStore.

If I'm not mistaken techauthority only offers manuals back to 1995
Cummins has an engine only manual.

If you call them they can help with stuff further back than what's on the website.

Yep. '89 had the Diesel supplement (sounds like vitamins for your truck ), which I have been outbid on several times. I have both '91 and '93 manuals and they do cover the Cummins though.
