Recommendations for Repair Manual
I have look up Haynes, Chilton's, and Dodge's CD manuals the prices range from $300 to $20. I just want a good manual to do some of the maintenance type stuff, adjust tranny bands, brakes, ect. Which one would you guys recommend?
The haynes manual is missing a lot of info. The Dodge service manual is very thorough. I have both and since I got the Service manual haven’t opened the haynes.
This is where to get the Dodge service manual:

Hope this helps.

Chrysler manuals are nice, but I thought the wiring diagrams and schematics are lacking and difficult to follow. I'd prefer CD's because you can do word searches and print pages to take along under the truck with you. But, I don't have a lap top, and I do my best reading in that "special room"
so I got the books instead.

I just tried it on a Gov. computer and tried the link and it worked. Do you have your browser set up to use secure links? They take credit cards so it will be a secure server.

I bought the CD version for my '01 from a guy on ebay. It is a .pdf file containing the entire service manual. Cost me $12.50 + $4 s&h. Works fine for me... I can read up on whatever I want and just print the pages out that I need if I want to take them out the truck with me. If the pages happen to get greasy or oily finger prints on them, it's no big deal.
