You need to have an auto shift, manual shift dosent work as well in a diesel application...not enough RPM to work with... the first shift is bang bang

I'm starting to think face plated gears for an NV4500 with an air shifter might be another option.

Neither, use the 48RH with Full manual, that Mike has or is acquiring, run an air solenoid, and the clutch setup.

Poor mans Lenco.

Kev, this motor will rev to at least 6000 rpm Can also look into adjusting the shift points in the valve body. Any rpm under 4k, the engine will fall flat on its face. I want to leave the line at 3500 to 4000 rpm's. This engine will rev out like an big block engine, so you'll have more operating room to shift. The dream any ways.Time will tell the real story.

Anybody know if race city will be open next year? I hate to travel north to E-town just to get the dust off the hood.

I just read in the paper a couple days ago, that city counsel voted to renew the lease for another (I think it was 3 years?) so it should be open for next year, but I would assume that it will be Friday nights like this year, not that it is a big deal what days its open.

I imagine that the police would be all over ya, if you took it out for a rip around town but I guess that they have to catch ya to give ya a ticket.

Knowing Kev, He's probably out in the garage right now thinking about getting a bigger twin set-up for the ride or a way to get in more fuel into each cylinder.
