I was out in the wide world web and decided to stop in at bullseyepower this morning, and they offer the 500 series in a few different flavors.

The little 591 as you might guess it is a 91mm compressor

The small 595 again straight forward at 95mm

The medium 598... 98mm

The large 510... 100mm

and finally the Super Size 5122, yup you guessed it 122mm

I kinda think the 122 is a little much for anything short of a 10.5 outlaw car.

I might get some custom borgwarner stuff, as they looking to try stuff out.

I'm still learning to guys, and the slope is steep mother.

I was in heaven, I saw a table full of big turbos just laying on a bench yesterday. I wished that I had a camera. Not to many guys play with that of big turbos, so the factory likes to try different things. Once the oil patch picks up again, they'll be using them for lean burn, more efficent designs. Its just thinking ahead and doing some r&d stuff, on the cheap.

Mike I just like going to your place, you have enough turbo's around there to keep me busy for quite some time.

On a side note I think I found a place this morning, inadvertently, that stocks 1.25".

I still do have few that you haven't seen yet. No probs buddy, the trick is to get some soot onto the turbine disks and see what they do.

How many of those exhaust flanges did you get made up? We can use what you have and build another one. I have a few ideas, so all not lost. Man the weather been nice to just hang out in the garage and have a cool one.

We have to find a lighter 2wd drive truck just so we can build one heck of super mod truck. I should have room at my place by the end of the year. I'm have to get rid of a few vehicles.

I just got that one made up for the first round, it is my prototype. We will still run it, as it will be good to compare with. I would really love to do a stock, ats, 1.25 T3, 1.5 T3, 1.5 T4 comparison, but that might be asking a little much...

Not really buddy, not really. If you have time to build and I have time for testing. We might have to do some brain storm some testing plans. I do have some pretty decent recording equipment available. I would nice to do some documentation.

I thought they would have sized it like the way Garrets do. First number is the series, last two digits is the compressor size using only two digits. Like the GT4294 is a 94mm major, the GT4202 is 102mm major.

Either way, S510 is still a big turbo, and something that Kevin should consider. 175 lbs./min just isn't enough . . .

I'll be home for about 18 hours after the dyno, then back to work on the Sunday. Most of that time will be consumed by sleep and laundry.

That ranger is a 2wd.

Tate, are you thinking that you'll be home sometime in the near future. I would like to sit down one night and chat about our goals on the ranger, if there is any interest. We have most of the speed parts, just sitting in our garages, here in Airdrie. What kinda of tranny you want to put in it? Thats the only real sticking part. Full built RH48 with a manual clutch, or lencoI would rather over build than under build that part.

You like shifting, so we could go with something different. There is tons of fiberglass parts available and the chassis is pretty easy (I hope).

I will have home time this winter, so I need a project.
