Is My Brake Controller Messed Up?
Yesterday I towed my fifth wheel trailer for the first time with my
2010 ram. The brake controller kept saying the trailer brake wire was
defective or something like that. I have towed the fifth wheel thousands
of miles with no problem with the brakes. Is this something the factory
controller does for no reason. Has someone else had the same thing happen?

I have never seen that message and I have hooked up to my goose neck a few times. i believe in one of the manuals they give a list of codes and what they mean. wish I could be more help.
