Upgraded steering
Thanks a bunch for the info!
That is the part number my dealership gave me for the upgraded steering unit so, as far as i know, it is correct. I haven't ordered them (still thinking about trying to get it warranteed as i am right at about 35000 miles on my '08) so I can't say with absolute certainty, however.
Has anyone found a bilstein 7100 or maybe the fox that Thuren uses to put on as a stabilizer? It seems the new steering setup has all the mounts for the stabilizer but you just need the shock. Part numbers anyone?
Turning Radius on an 05-2500-- Trying to figure why my turning is so poor on my 05 Truck-- I am Running a 4.5 Inch Fabtech Lift with Only 17-Inch By 8-Wide Pro-comp Wheels With 305" Tires.
basically just a little smaller than 33- 12:50's Anyhow I have the Kit that Has the Upper Hoop That Two Res- Shocks Mount too. Anyhow I try to look and see where the Contact point is with my Wheels fulling Turned and Why I am no getting the Turning I had in Past with the likes of my Thuren Fabrication Lift where like on most of the lifts for these 2500 Cummings the Shock Goes Through the COil Spring, Well on mine it Mounts to the Upper Hoop Mount and Only a securing Strap Runs Down through the Coil Spring on mine.
I know it must have to DO with this Lift just trying to understand or locate contact point.
I Want my Turning Ability back, I do not like to have to do those 3- point back -up's to make a Turn if you know What I mean, like I always Dealt with on GMC / Ford Trucks 3/4 Ton / 2500's
Any feeback on to what maybe causing this will be greatly appreciated.

PitMan Arm-05
I Do not know about that, I am tryin to resolve if an up-graded Pitman Arm Will Provide me better Turning Radious then I am getting Currently Running this Fabtech 4.5 Inch Kit, that has the Dual Upper Shock Hoop Mount.
This system Does not Run the Shock Through The Coil Spring like most lifts for the Ram-2500 seem to.
Anyhow I have Really Bad Turning Ability and trying to figure it out, Only Running 17-inch by 8-Wide Wheels with 305 Tires just a little smaller then 33----12:50 Tires.
The only Thing I can Figure is If I had a modified / Upgraded Pitman Arm to help provide Turning Ability.

You should be able to see where the trouble is by supporting the front axle with jack stands and turning the wheel. You could even have trouble internally with the steering gear. Pop the linkage apart from the pitman arm to see if you get any more turn.
