It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

I wanted it too but to get it have to go for the radio upgrade which I did NOT want. So settled for the cheapie which I will change out later.

I didn't get them because they would be next to impossible to interface with an aftermarket unit without all kinds of special adapters. And I wasn't going to settle for keeping the factory stereo.

I GOT THEM, LOVE IT. CHANGED TO AN AFTERMARKET CD PLAYER, BOUGHT AN INTERFACE SO THAT STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS WOULD STILL WORK. LIKE THEM BETTER ON THE BACK, KEEPS WHEEL LOOKING "CLEAN"

Re:Steering wheel mounted audio controls
I contacted the dealer yesterday. The switches are only $35.00 but the problem is the wiring harness is different and so is the stering wheel. The service guy told me it would not be worth the cost...Oh well...Next time....

Americanpie, is this the switch you are using?
http://www.go2pac.com/products/swi.htm
I was wondering how to use my controls behind the wheel after changing the unit. ??? I'm getting tired of holding the remote while driving. How was the install? How much is it and where did you get it from?

Geets, Try this website for interface adapters and input converters. http://www.pie.net/ They have a lot of different unique parts I could not find anywhere else. (I found an interface to convert the 10 pin CD changer connecter on stock head unit to RCA audio inputs for satellite radio) I would try crutchfield.com first. Their prices are much more reasonable...Mike
