odd blinker problem

hey guys. I went to use the truck and found out I had 3 blown blinkers. Only the rear passenger side worked. all other lights work.

I just started to change the bulbs with brand new ones and they still dont work. All other bulb functions work, and the blinker that does work blinks.

any ideas?

TIA

I would bet that you have a problem with the tipm. I looked at a wiring diagram from my 06 manual, I dont know how much of that works on your truck but if the circuit is the same the front two blinkers come out of C5 connector on the tipm and the rear two come out of C6 on the tipm.

I'll second TIPM... unfortunately, with all I'm aware, leaving a dead bulb in causes the TIPM to freak out and burn itself up. Apparently in the 1000-1200 $$ range.

well, it was the TIPM. It is getting repaired now. i hope this also solves my "engine surging problem".

Thanks again guys!
