No incentives/rebates on leftover 2009 HD Rams??
I've been eyeing some of the leftover '09 Ram 2500/3500 Mega Cabs on dealer lots and noticed that the Dodge website no longer lists the incentives for the 2009 model year. No problem, I'll just call the 800 number that is listed on the Dodge website for Rebates/Incentives. I'm politely informed that Dodge is not offering any consumer rebates on leftover 2009 models?! ***??
Now I'm sure that the dealer is getting some sort of incentives/rebates on the '09s, but what kind of marketing strategy is that to advertise to the consumer no rebates/incentives?
This is of course assuming this lady knew what she was talking about...I would hope so since it was the national hotline for Dodge rebates/incentives.
Anyone work at a dealer who knows what's up??

Chrysler Financial is no longer selling/taking in Loans...... So unless Ram/Dodge/Chrysler works something out with a New Lender there will be no Incentives for a while. The local Dodge/Jeep/Ram Dealer in my neck of the woods has no new vehicles on their lot because of not being able to get financing for them

I work at a dealer and they now have what is called dealer cash on the 09. It is the same as a rebate but the dealer does not need to tell the consumer how much is offered to the dealer. Right now in Az we have 6k in dealer cash. Plus Dodge gave each dealer coupons for 2k when they sell an 09 model. So for as long the dealer has a coupon left your are looking at 8k off from the factory. They do differ from each business center so this may not be true for everyone.

I'm in the Dallas, TX area - zip code 76092. Not sure if that is same business center as the dealer you work at.
