I have an '02 Dually 4x4 Slt ect. and think it's time to trade up. I've armed myself with a bit of info and Sunday I headed out for an interesting day of bargaining. It's an interesting story of events that I'll get to later but for now I'm wondering about the incentives and rebates and ect. I'm a member of Farm Bureau have been since '03 and I'm a small business owner since '91 I've also owned 3 Dodge 3500 Cummins. Apparently Dodge doesn't do Loyalty programs while this EP is going on, that is the Loyalty program.
Dodge will not allow rebates for both the small business and Farm Bureau it's one or the other. Since this is the first new truck I've purchased since I've been a Farm Bureau member I've yet to use it for the disc. The story I get is I need to go to my FB office get a form, fill it out and have my dealer sign it then I send it back to FB and they send me a check. If this is the case and it doesn't show on the dealer paper work why can't you do both? What do you guys think? Have any experience with these rebates?

I have experience with the commercial rebate. It is $300 with Federal Tax ID #. My advice, don't bring up the rebates until after you have haggled the price.

 

You do not need to go jumping though all those hoops to get the FB rebate. Just call your state office and ask about getting the rebate. They will send you a rebate form in the mail. I just did this last week. And even though you may not be able to use both the FB rebate and the small business discount together, you will be able to use your small business discount for a exhaust brake and other dealer installed options.

May not lower the purshase price but after installing some dealer options, the price might be OK in the end. I wish I would have had a business discount when I bought the EB, even though I did get it for EP pricing.
