Rear Sway Bar
Yes and yes.
I installed the Hellwig Rear Sway Bar. Definitely help stablize the rear end when towing, but it also helped minimize sway/roll on curves even empty.
I paid around $250 for the kit and took maybe an hour to install in the driveway.

Helwig Sway Bar installed on my truck as well. Easy install, no interferences. Does what it is supposed to do. Takes out roll and sway running empty, also takes out roll and sway when towing. Really nice addition, worth it's price/cost to add. Dodge used to have the rear sway bar as standard equipment.

I have been interested in this mod as well, especially if it also helps when unloaded. I found one at www.truckspring.com for $265.

I have the RoadMaster bar on my truck. It is larger diameter than the Hellwig and it mounts wider on the axle too.
Made a HUGE difference to my truck's handling when the camper is on-board.
